The cellars
Under our residence there are two enormous cellars dug by hand in the tuff connected by a tunnel. They are part of an underground network that connects the houses of the medieval center and were used to move without passing through the surface and then as cellars and shelters during the war. Of note is the presence of an open BUTTO, it is a flask-shaped well where food and non-food waste was disposed of, including many dishes of which copies can be admired inside them while the originals are visible in the ceramic museum in via Cavour.
